ABOUT ME
My name’s Rachel, I’m an intuitive coach, tarot reader and shadow work practitioner. I work with people who feel ready to understand themselves more deeply and who want to move forward in their lives with clarity and confidence.
I aim to fill my life with as much creativity and wellbeing as I can, I love working with my hands and teaching, especially in the field of art and crafts. I run various workshops, allowing people to embrace their creative side, some of which are felting, silver metal clay and botanical clay work. Bringing nature into what I do at every opportunity. I’ve always felt a strong connection with animals and nature and for this reason I have recently moved with my wife to West Wales. I love our four cats and two dogs, all apart from 1 are rescued, and our beautiful garden, and the environment around us. It is wonderful being so close to the sea and to the mountains, such a privilege.
I worked previously as a primary school teacher for many years in England and around the world, and always enjoyed building relationships with young people, especially those who may have had a rocky start in life. My greatest achievements have been in helping children to express themselves and learn to trust an adult, skills they may not have the opportunity to learn at home.
My path into intuitive work has grown from my own interest in personal development and working to gain an understanding of why we tend to repeat certain patterns in our lives. I have learned that we don’t always understand ourselves well enough and can sometimes self sabotage, but that we can learn to live in more positive ways. I felt more and more excited and inspired by the possibilities of this kind of work and wanted to know more, so I began training in tarot and life coaching with the best teacher and mentor I could find in order to give myself the tools.
I wanted to train with Richard Knight, and have been lucky enough to be able to enrol as his student, receiving one to one mentoring and guidance from him over a long period of time. I then set about creating a supportive and peaceful space in a purpose built garden room within our home, surrounded by nature, where individuals can feel listened to and respected and where intuitive tarot can begin to do its work through me. This virtual and physical space is now at the heart of what I do.
I believe we sometimes need time and freedom to reflect, to notice what’s really going on with us, to be inspired and to be able to reconnect with our own inner wisdom and guides. If you wish to work with me, I can enable this for you, I will walk alongside you on your journey, sessions with me are grounded, thoughtful and guided by what feels right for you. Nobody needs fixing, but everyone needs a helping hand sometimes. My greatest sense of fulfilment comes from helping people feel more like themselves again and to go further than they ever thought they could.
The tools I use in our work together will consist of the traditional Ryder Waite tarot, as well as some of my own favourites such as the Triple Goddess by Jaymi Elford and Franco Rivolli, the Gilded Tarot Royale by Ciro Marchetti and Anne Stokes’ Dragon Tarot.
